can having your air compressor replaced knock the alignment off ?

I DROPPED MY CAR OFF OVER A WEEK AGO TO THE DEALER DRIVING STRAIGHT AND PICKED IT UP BARELY ABLE TO STAY IN MY LANE, THE STEERING WHEEL IS OFFSET ALMOST AN INCH. NOT ONLY WAS THAT OFF, MY A/C STILL DIDN’T WORK. I BROUGHT IT BACK WITHIN AN HOUR.

    You need to find a new mechanic. Like was said the AC compressor has nothing to do with alignment. It sounds like they may have been joy riding with your car instead of fixing it. HodgPodg

    Does it say “FOL” anywhere on the receipt? That means Fell Off Lift. BTW, you car must be pretty old. They haven’t put air compressors on cars in years. You should get the suspension checked. You may be driving a death trap. Carl L

    the air compressor has nothing to do with the alignment. you need to take it to an alignment center to have it checked. baldie
