Nate asked:

to make like a knocking or clicking noise? Before you say its the engine knocking, no its not, I’m 100% sure its the A/C because I was told I need a new A/C compressor and also because when I turn off the A/C, the sound goes away. But I was just wondering what’s causing it to make the noise anyway.
It’s a constant rapid clicking noise.

The clicking noise is normal and is the clutch engaging and disengaging on the compressor, you may even be able to watch this happen.

How often it clicks may determine if there’s a problem. If its every couple seconds (once every 10 or less seconds), sounds like the freon is low, or other problem. kostura118

either the bearings are getting bad or the clutches are getting bad and kicking in and out a lot, and or slipping Kevin
